It is apparent throughout the Center that we are masterful students. Everyone is hard at work on the Accenture Challenge, discussing study methods for our upcoming finals in 2 weeks, and polishing up the last assignments to be handed in for grading.

I hope to see everyone around next semester. Hang tight, work hard through these last few weeks, and bring it hard to the finish!

Despite the current state of the economy investment the interest in wireless broadband technologies (i.e. WiMAX and LTE) has increased. The total number of WiMAX subscribers is up to approx 4 million at the end of June 2009, up 74% from last year.

This shows the importance of broadband and the benefits of a system that provides broadband in a cost effective way to those in rural areas.

World impact on reduced footprint

Sustainable design and it’s impact on the impact on the environment shows how we can reduce our footprint:

Reducing paper waste- spending $280 (million, billion?) worldwide

half of the world’s forests are burned or cleared

large push for EMR, or electronic medical records- reduce the “guessing game” of inefficiency

How do we make a lasting sustainability that will have a positive impact on mankind, future job growth , and creating user-evolution?
